We left the Carson City/Reno area and went to Fallon, NV. It was not very (or not at all) exciting. We spent two nights in the RV lot (concrete with hookups) at the Bonanza Casino, mostly to do laundry. We also did a little shopping and walked CC several times in the residential area behind the casino, which included a real nice park. Yesterday (6/10) we left Fallon and headed to Winnemucca, NV. As in the title of the post, not much here either. We did take a drive to Paradise Valley, an old town about 40 miles north:
We also had a chance to get CC groomed, which we took advantage of. Nice RV park here, with a pool, which we used this afternoon. However, the weather still isn't great -- sunny but barely 70 degrees. They are calling for warmer weather heading into the weekend, but we are heading further east tomorrow (to Wells), so we'll see if this weather follows us.
Debbie, you can tell if you have been dry camping by the smell after about 2 or 3 days.
